Shaun is an author and executive editor for Checkpoint and has been with Thomson Reuters for over five years. His articles can be found in PPC’s Practitioners Tax Action Bulletins and Quickfinder’s Tax Tips Newsletter.

Before joining Thomson Reuters, Shaun spent over ten years with national accounting firms. Early in his career, Shaun led research and development tax incentive studies for Fortune 500 companies. Following this, he specialized in tax due diligence, corporate restructurings, and international tax compliance and planning. Shaun also has extensive experience in advising small businesses and closely held companies on various tax matters.

Shaun received a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. In 2018, he was named a “tax expert to watch” by Accounting Today.

John Wandrisco is a Direct Tax Sales Executive at Thomson Reuters and has 20+ years of experience in Tax Technology. In this role, his focus is to help large corporations solve their income tax, transfer pricing, statutory reporting, and overall tax data management challenges.

Prior to his current role, John lead go-to-market operations at Verady, makers of the Legible crypto tax and accounting solutions for professionals. At Thomson Reuters, he’s held several business, technical and product management leadership roles all in the Tax & Accounting business.

John has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas, San Antonio and is working on his MBA at the University of North Texas. He lives in Flower Mound, TX with his wife and two kids, enjoys spending time with his family, various outdoor activities and traveling in his free time.
